Plant Virus Pipeline

This project is a research-oriented workflow for screening plant sequencing files for possible viruses. The website lets you upload files, create a job, and read the resulting report in plain language.

Demo mode This public website is online for learning, testing uploads, and showing the workflow. It does not currently run the full virus-detection toolchain on the server.

What This Is

Beginner Summary

  • A browser front end for a plant-virus screening workflow.
  • Designed for paired-end sequencing files, usually called R1 and R2.
  • Useful for testing uploads, job creation, and report generation.

What This Is Not

Important Limits

  • Not a medical or agricultural diagnosis service.
  • Not a complete public bioinformatics platform yet.
  • Not a full live virus-detection server in this demo deployment.

How To Read It

What Users Should Expect

  • If you upload files here, you will get a job record and report output.
  • In demo mode, the report shows the planned workflow rather than a true biological result.
  • Advanced database fields can be ignored by most beginners.

Submit Demo Job

For beginners: R1 and R2 are the two matching sequencing files from the same sample. If you do not know what BLAST or Kraken2 mean, you can leave those advanced fields empty.

This hosted version only accepts dry-run jobs, so the demo mode setting is locked on.
